Bordered by countries such as India, Bangladesh, Laos, and China. It is definitely a place with a culture and environment any traveler would love to visit. With a well-preserved variety of ecosystems and wildlife, it is certainly exciting getting to see the usual Zoo animals in their natural habitat, just like a live Discovery Channel show. Now, how much does it really take to get there? How much does it cost to get an eTa VISA to a place such as Myanmar?
According to the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population from Myanmar, there are a series of listed requirements on their website for tourists on leisure, as well as business travelers; which involve a minimum of 6 months of passport validity, a color photo with specified measures of 4.8 x 3.8 centimeters, taken during the last 3 months, and a payment of $50.00 USD for tourists, or $70.00 USD for business travelers.
Business travelers will require a letter of invitation personally directed to the traveler from a registered company.
It is a useful piece of information to know the ministry validates eTa approval letters 90 days from the issued date. Should that expire, the entry will be denied. And they only allow a maximum length of stay of 28 days. It is also important to take into consideration the eTa VISA payments are not refundable.
eTa VISA for Myanmar is only valid for a single entry. An additional entry will require a new visa.
Passengers with eTA VISA are only permitted to enter the state through the following ports:
- Yangon International Airport
- Mandalay International Airport

Compared to other Southeast Asia countries, Myanmar is relatively an expensive place to be at. However, any traveler will certainly feel overwhelmed by a number of smiles and kindness one may find from people at Myanmar. There is certainly a great deal of human warm and kindness in the air anyone would find pleasant on a leisure trip.
